BlackBerry Present: GDPR in Education

Achieving Success with GDPR in an Education Environment

As we all know, General Data Protection Regulation is coming into effect in May 2018. Schools, colleges and universities are wondering what changes they need to make to ensure that they are compliant.

Any successful implementation of GDPR is dictated by the approach an organisation takes and the ability to identify the opportunities that exist to drive added efficiencies throughout the institution. This session will address the regulation as a whole, identify what it means to the education sector and demonstrate how compliance can be most successfully and efficiently achieved and embedded. The session will also consider the value that resides in the data we hold and to extract it.

During the seminar there will be plenty of time for Q&As. Breakfast refreshments will be provided.
