Acting in concert delivers better value for our customers
Taurus are involved with many industry organisations: one such is the Concert Group, the UK's largest independent communication consortium. I was asked recently to present an award for "the most innovative application software product" of 2009 to Union Street Technologies, a software house developing specialised billing and customer management systems.
At Taurus, we get involved in these kinds of initiatives because it helps us to deliver better value and bring the latest products and services to our customers. The Concert Group, for example, has turnover in excess of £35 million a year, and is made up of like-minded partners. We work together to establish the sales volumes necessary to maximise product discounts. The Group also provides a national support and marketing presence.
