Here at Taurus we’ve been working with and supporting our friends at Children’s Hospice South West for a number of years, so it was great to see first-hand their newest facility, at Little Harbour in Cornwall, when I visited recently. The work that this incredible charity does for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families never ceases to amaze me, and with the addition of this new hospice, their work in Cornwall can only go from strength to strength.
What really struck me was the design of the building; it seems to encompass every aspect of its mission. Care, sensitivity, humility, planning, technology and foresight have all been carefully combined to create an extraordinary facility that I felt privileged to experience.
